Dr. Stevan Petrovic will present the latest results with Addcon’s newest product against the most common pathogenic gram-positive bacteria in animal husbandry.

Plant secondary metabolites (PSM) are biologically active compounds which can exert beneficial
effects on ruminal fermentation, feed digestion, health, and productivity. Due to their
antimicrobial effects against undesirable ruminal bacteria, protozoa, and methanogens, PSM can
serve as alternatives to antibiotic feed additives in ruminant production. 

pwrPlanz® EMC, is a highly concentrated product, consisting of a mixture of aromatic compounds with medium- and macro-chain fatty acids and functional fibre. 

The unique combination of these plant extracts, including the uneven medium chain fatty acids, is efficiently supporting gut health in animals, due to a strong antimicrobial effect against pathogen bacteria and improving the gut morphology. Stabilized microbiome of the gut in monogastric and of the rumen in ruminants will lead to improved animal performances.
