Organised by Informa Markets Taiwan, 2026 Asia Agri-Tech Expo & Forum, together with Livestock Taiwan and Aquaculture Taiwan, concluded successfully on 8 May at the ICC Tainan. Marking its 10th anniversary, this year’s edition brought together over 150 exhibitors from around the world and attracted professionals from more than 50 countries and regions. Over the three-day show period, the event recorded 17,887 visits, further reinforcing its position as one of Asia’s leading agricultural, aquaculture, and livestock trade platforms.
This year’s exhibition focused on key sectors including smart agriculture, livestock technology, aquaculture, automation equipment, biotechnology and sustainable agriculture, showcasing the latest technologies, innovative applications and industry developments. Renowned companies and organisations such as Cargill Taiwan, Alltech Taiwan, Great Wall, the Academia-Industry Collaboration Center of National Chung Hsing University, EZ Aqua and MOBA BV participated in the exhibition, presenting innovations in smart farming, feed technology, automation equipment and sustainable solutions, further enhancing the exhibition’s professionalism and international visibility.
In addition, as Taiwan’s agriculture, aquaculture and livestock industries continue advancing towards smarter and more efficient operations, strong domestic market demand was clearly evident throughout the exhibition. Industry professionals showed significant interest in AI applications, automation equipment, precision nutrition management, as well as biosecurity and disease prevention solutions, reflecting the sector’s active investment in smart transformation and sustainable upgrading.
This year’s exhibition welcomed professional buyers, industry representatives and technology suppliers from across Asia, the Americas, Europe and Africa. Throughout the event, exhibitors and visitors engaged in in-depth discussions on smart agriculture, automation equipment, livestock technology and sustainable solutions, creating vibrant business interactions and international exchange opportunities.
To facilitate meaningful business matching, the exhibition also organised a series of networking sessions and procurement meetings, helping exhibitors connect effectively with international buyers and potential business partners. Many exhibitors noted a significant increase in both the number and professionalism of overseas buyers this year, which not only supported international market expansion but also strengthened global brand exposure.
According to the post-show survey, exhibitor satisfaction reached 78.5%, while 76.4% expressed strong intentions to participate again. In addition, 78% of exhibitors stated they would recommend the exhibition to industry peers, reflecting strong recognition of the event’s overall quality and business value. Nearly half of exhibitors also expressed positive expectations regarding post-show business opportunities, with some anticipating sales growth of over 20%, further demonstrating the exhibition’s effectiveness in promoting international collaboration, expanding market opportunities and strengthening industry exchange.
In addition to the exhibition, a total of 45 professional forums and conferences were held during the event, attracting 1,457 industry participants. The forum program focused on key topics including smart agriculture, AI applications, sustainable livestock farming, animal health, precision farming and net-zero carbon emissions.
This year’s forums featured speakers and representatives from government agencies, academic and research institutions, industry experts, and international companies, including the Agricultural Technology Research Institute, Livestock Research Institute under the Ministry of Agriculture, National Taiwan University, Great Wall, and Cargill Taiwan. Discussions focused on key trends in smart agriculture, sustainable development, and industry upgrading. Through cross-disciplinary perspectives and practical case studies, the forums facilitated knowledge exchange and strengthened technical collaboration across the industry.
As 2026 Asia Agri-Tech Expo & Forum successfully concludes, the event has not only reflected the continued advancement of Asia’s agricultural technology sector towards smart and sustainable development, but has also brought together key momentum and collaboration opportunities across government, industry, academia, and research communities worldwide. From technology showcases and professional forums to international business exchanges, the event demonstrated strong industry commitment to innovation and cross-sector collaboration, highlighting significant market potential.
Building on this 10th anniversary milestone, the organisers will continue to strengthen the internationalisation and professionalisation of the exhibition, working closely with global industry partners to drive Agri-Tech innovation, sustainable transformation, and international market connectivity.
